| Dear future child,
Whatever gender you are, I hope that you don't disappoint me. Don't get in trouble (as long as I don't know it). I hope that you do as much good as you and I and your mother want you to do until you're 21, and then you can do whatever. I will not make you do things that you don't want to do, but if I feel it's best for the general public, I might make you do at least one thing. Don't sweat it. I have done the things you will probably do, but don't tell me until you have graduated from college! Remember the golden rule: Be as mean to the person as they are Love, Chris |
| Dear teenager,
It's a great thing to be a teenager, so enjoy yourself. Just make sure that you always do what adults tell you to. You should always respect them, even though sometimes it seems like you know more than them. Remember, they have been here longer than you and they do know more, even though it might not seem that way. One day you might see Marissa |
Dear Teenager, Being a teen is awesome (or whatever you future teens say now-a-days). I'm only twelve, but close enough. I can still tell you what it is like. First of all, it seems there is a lot of gossiping that goes on, if you are a girl. There can be gossip when you are a boy too, but I have to admit it is mostly girls. And even with all the gossip that goes on, you should try not to gossip yourself. Gossip can hurt others along with yourself, and it can ruin relationships (whether it is with friends or a boyfriend/girlfriend). Also there are a lot of school activities, try not to overwhelm yourself with every activity in the school. It can affect your sleep habits and your relationships. Sleeping is an important part of your life. It is what helps you function, and it helps you remember things. When you sleep, everything that you learn that day gets programmed into your head. When you're always doing other things all the time, you have almost no time for your friends, family, and/or boyfriend/girlfriends. So take my advice and don't do a ton of school activities; it consumes time and life. I think that is all you need to know, good luck as a teen! Jessica James |
| Letter to My Future Son or Daughter (Which I May or May Not Have)
Dear future child (which I might or might not have), I hope that you don't become the next white rapper, or even like rap at all. I also hope that you do unto others as you want them to do unto you-or do to them what they've got coming. I hope that you don't break the law, unless it is an un-just law that violates your constitutional |
Dear my teenage child (who is the bomb because you are related to me), There are a few things that I want you to know. First, you should be a jock like me and wear jockish clothing because they are so comfortable. Another thing that I want to tell you is to be yourself. Even if you think wearing clothing that is uncomfortable and wearing makeup (and mini-skirts and leggings or whatever is in style) will make you popular, well it might, but I don't think you will be happy. No matter what you do or look like, someone else will accept you for it, so just be yourself. MAKE SURE YOU PLAY SOCCER!!!!!! Bye, |
| Letter to My Teenage Daughter (I am NOT having a teenage daughter btw) Dear future teenage daughter, I think you should know that even if someone is cool and popular, if they want you to do something that you don't want to do, then they are not really a good friend. |
