Healthy food

Teenagers grow much at this period of life. That is why we need to eat right food. Food is building material and right physical development depends on it.
Food must be varied, to have all important elements and vitamins for growing body.
These products are useful for teenagers to eat:
- Meat, fish.
- Eggs
- Diary products
- Vegetables and fruit
- Berries
- Nuts
Useful drinks are clean water, fresh juices, mineral water, tea.

Products that teenagers should not eat or eat very seldom are chips, hot dogs, pizza, salted nuts, sweets, bread products in big amount and instant food. Not useful drinks are sweet gas drinks, coffee, energetic drinks.
Unfortunately, many teenagers prefer fast and unhealthy food. The reason for this are: such food is very tasty, big propaganda of these products and drinks on TV; high popularity, teenagers eat what their peers eat; it is sold without limits in school cafes and canteens.

In many families parents make teenagers eat healthier food but teenagers spend a lot of time without parents (school, clubs, parents at work). That is why there is nobody to control besides ourselves.
Eating unhealthy food will bring problems with health very soon. It is reason for many illnesses and weight problems.
Besides need to eat healthy food, teenagers should follow the rule to eat 4 times a day but not too much at one meal and try to have meals always at the same time.
Both lack of food and extra eating bring health problems.
